I stayed in the top floor last time. I liked the bunk beds this time much better.
The bunk beds have no power outlet. The next outlet was on the other side of the room, therefore not appropriate to charge an electric device over night. The staff was helpful to charge my phone but it's inconvenient. My friend found the mattress to thin, it was ok (not great) for me.

Loved the large common room, it made meeting other travelers easy.
Only 2 showers so a bit of a wait

The location of the hotel was fairly convenient, with quick access to the city center and plenty of small stores and restaurants in the vicinity. The dorm room was nice, albeit a bit shabby, and the beds were alright. The showers had good heat and pressure, and the hotel offered free wifi and plenty of advice for travelers.

having a fair few to a room allowed for alot of interaction. both days and nights i was there, i was out with different people and groups. meeting a lot of cool people from around the world, seeing some wicked sites of the city and some crazy nights out in shinjuku, shibuya and rapponghi (the best thing about the hostel being just 3 mins from shinjuku and 10min tops of tubes to the other 2, these three being the best places for nights out in tokyo) despite having 40 or so to some rooms, the capsules are surprisingly spacious and private. having wifi on all levels was good too
curfew of 12-6am or 1-6am cant remember. didnt really sync with the partying areas which tend to get going around midnight. as a result we didnt get in till 7am but can imagine might want to have the ability to go back when you wish. perhaps a key pad on the door for people staying like they do many other places

Quiet spot in Tokyo, near the metro, one stop from Shinjuku center.
A bit "off the map"; they could use larger lockers but you can store valuebles items in them anyway; a couple of toilets were out of order and seems they will stay like that for a while... But there's plenty so not a real issue.

The location of this budget accommodation is quite convenient, with easy access to subway stations. Guests can explore nearby attractions such as Shibuya and Harajuku. there are plenty of local convenience stores, cafes, and restaurants in the vicinity, offering a variety of dining options.
The hostel lacks a vibrant social atmosphere, making it challenging to meet other travelers and create a lively environment.

Friendly staff and sort of good accomodation. It's basically a wodden capsule hotel for foreign backpackers. Great wifi throughout every floor.
The mattress is about as usefull as 10 towels stacked. I'd say about 8 cm max thickness. No problem unless you have backpain as i did.

the staff, especially the Japanese and Westerner staff, were friendly and went out of their way to assist us with any request or concern. the 28-bed mixed capsule room I stayed in was surprisingly quiet, providing a peaceful and comfortable night's sleep. the capsules themselves were cozy and provided a sense of privacy. the location was also very convenient, with easy access to transportation and a nearby food street. Ace Inn offered a friendly atmosphere and a perfect resting place after a long day of sightseeing. Cons: No issues at all! 👍.

Convenience stores nearby and the "capsule" feeling of the beds.
Need to pay for shower and it is not located on the same floor with the room.

The hostel is the worse I've ever been!! No atmosphere, no nice staff (the opposite!), not very clean, no close to anything interesting! The location is not convenient at all. 30min walking from Shinjuku business and shopping area, and 20in form the closest JR station. The building looks pretty bad inside and outside!! The beds and not clean and are pretty uncomfortable! The rooms where the capsules are look horrible!!! and not to talk about the lockers...no way you can fit your bag there! Thus, no security at all. And...big surprise! you have to pay to use their horrible and dirty showers... No words... We wanted to try the typical 'capsule experience', and in that hotel was a total mistake!

Convenient location, 2 stops from Shinjuku Station. Clean beds and sheets, well air-conditioned rooms. Nice lounge with vending machines and wifi. Showers and bathrooms clean with signs for quiet. Friendly staff, spacious and sturdy bunk beds. Free towels and mixed floors. Friendly atmosphere from fellow travelers. Good location near a station in Shinjuku area.

It was very clean, the staff were very helpful and accommodating and had good English skills and knowledge about the city. I was very comfortable and felt safe, and the common area was a nice place to relax. It was also very conveniently located, about 20 feet from the subway exit and in a central part of Tokyo.
Paying 100 yen for 10-minute showers was kind of a downer, but it wasn't too bad. My friend's jacket was stolen in the common area, but that is the fault of other travelers, in my opinion.

It was so close to the station and also right next to Shinjuku! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
